About Krimsynn

My name is Reginald Matthews and I was born in Waukegan, IL and raised in Liberty, MS, and currently I'm the Director of Information Technology at Southwest Mississippi Community College.

Before starting at Southwest, I worked on two separate occasions for a total of 14 years as Technology Coordinator for the Amite County School District, in Liberty, MS, with 2 years in between as a computer technician for the McComb School District, in McComb, MS. I also do IT consulting and training for a host of businesses and homes in the southwest Mississippi area. Becoming a Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Google Educator renewed my passion for teaching technology, and increasing it’s usage in the classroom, prompting the creation of this site and also starting my journey to a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi which was completed in 2019. I'm also a 19-year member of the Mississippi Educational Computer Association (MECA) and the former president of the Mississippi Educational Technology Leaders Association (METLA). I recently completed my Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Louisiana State University in 2022. In the same year, I was also a graduate of the Mississippi Community College Leadership Academy which is sponsored by Mississippi State University.

When I'm not dealing with technology education, I'm a professional wrestler and actor as well, performing in local plays and having several uncredited extra roles in over 10 movies/TV shows such as Twilight and Young and the Restless. I was also fortunate enough to have the starring role in episode 62 of Oxygen Channel's "It Takes A Killer" in 2017. I played the role of Kendall Francois, the "Poughkeepsie Predator". (Link to IMDB page) In wrestling, I go by the name of Krimsynn. I began my his career in 2001, and co-founded my own entertainment company in the role of Co-CEO of PowerSlam Productions in 2008. Primarily focused on wrestling, PowerSlam Productions has also been involved in movies, television, and video games. I've wrestled all over the south from Louisiana to Florida, even appearing on WWE’s Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown in 2014.

I am currently an active member of Louisiana Ghostbusters, a cosplay group that participates in fundraisers for the American Cancer Society, performs charitable acts and provides community service. I also love to read and play games when I do find spare time. In 2021, I became the acting President of the Liberty, MS Area Chamber of Commerce.

Finally, I'm a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Liberty, MS, and married to Lauren Matthews, a special education teacher of 20 years. Together we have 3 children, James, Micah, and Isaiah.
